About A Jasper Design

I’m the founder of A Jasper Design, where my lifelong passions for fashion and dogs come together in every handmade coat I create.

Originally trained as a Fashion Designer in Lancashire, I later moved overseas to Hong Kong, where I specialised in Knitwear Design. After returning home to the South Lakes, I eventually settled in the beautiful village of Dent in the Yorkshire Dales.

Here, surrounded by nature and inspired by my four-legged friends, it felt only natural to combine my design background with my love of dogs — and so, A Jasper Design was born.

Each coat is handmade by me, from start to finish, on my sewing machine at home. Every piece is crafted with care, designed to be both stylish and functional, and can be made to measure for any size or breed of dog.

Handmade British Wool Dog Coats

Wrap your dog in timeless style and comfort with our beautiful collection of handmade coats, crafted with care in the UK. Each coat is expertly designed using the finest 100% British wool fabrics, featuring classic heritage patterns such as tweeds, checks, and herringbone.

Every coat is fully reversible, offering two looks in one — a luxurious wool outer and a waterproof, breathable lining for wet or windy days. Whether it’s a countryside stroll or a city walk, your dog will stay warm, dry, and effortlessly stylish.

Choose a lining colour to suit your dog’s personality and natural coat: grey, burgundy, black, navy, or olive green — all proudly made in the UK.

Herdwick Collection

A collection which uses the Herdwick fabrics from Cable & Blake , to create warm, stylish & durable dog coats to withstand the elements. All the fabric is woven from the iconic Herdwick sheep of the lake District and the natural colours are inspired by its landscape

 Neck circumference (where collar is worn)

 Body length (from base of neck to base of tail)

 Body width (midway between front and back legs)

Please note there is an additional charge of £20 for all bespoke dog coats.
